GEORGE X. RAPTIS

Principal / Vice President

George Raptis serves as Principal and Vice President at The Penta Group, leading the firm’s day-to-day operations and overseeing all field and project management activities. He ensures each project is executed with discipline, coordination, and a clear commitment to quality from preconstruction through completion.

George brings decades of experience managing both affordable and market-rate construction and development projects. Prior to joining Penta, he spent nearly 20 years with a general contractor, building deep expertise across every facet of the business. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Beyond his professional leadership, George is a dedicated community advocate. He is the founder and chairman of Kat’s Ribbon of Hope, a nonprofit organization supporting breast cancer research and patient navigation — reflecting the same sense of stewardship that guides his work at Penta.
